Mark Simon Smith originally wrote Sir Nathan and the Quest for Queen Gobbledeegook for some young nieces and nephews after hearing a story about fairy tales on Wisconsin Public Radio.

Now, with his own son reaching the age of 10, he dusted off the decade-old story and re-wrote and re-edited it, using his son as a test audience. After his son suffered no ill-effects in reaction to the story (other than giggles and demands to have it read to him again), the author decided to release the story into the wild. Like a silly, contagious disease, more silly stories followed and now there are three, with a fourth on the way!

Please submit any questions or comments and the author will respond to them as quickly as possible. Thanks!
